New Year's program

In addition to the rich historical and architectural heritage and the mild climate even in winter, Malta offers numerous opportunities to celebrate the New Year: from celebrations in the square in Valletta, to fireworks against the backdrop of the Grand Harbour, to disco parties in S.Julien.
27 or 28/12 Boarding: there are two boarding options, 27/12 from Marsala by participating in the transfer with night navigation or 28/12 directly in Malta.
29/12 boat trip with visit to the island of Comino, with the famous blue lagoon and its caves, weather permitting night in the harbor or night at the Gozo marina. It's not like we're going to have to take a bath!
30/12 visit to Gozo and the main attractions on land. The city is dominated by Il-Kastell, it is a small jewel which within its walls houses narrow gold-colored alleys and several valuable buildings.
31/12 The morning after breakfast, we will sail to discover the bays of Gozo, lunch in the cove and return to Valletta for a bit of relaxation and then we will prepare to celebrate the New Year with dinner, fireworks over the port, in the splendid frame of Valletta and those who want can stay up late dancing in one of the many clubs in Valletta or San Julien or trying their luck at the casino.

01/01 visit Valletta, a UNESCO heritage site, with the central avenue full of shops, restaurants and cafés and which teems with life at every hour of every day of the year. The labyrinth of typically Maltese streets of the capital will immediately give you a taste of the architecture and atmosphere of the island and you will see beautiful ups and downs and typical Maltese balconies everywhere. Not to be missed is the Saint John cathedral with precious works of art inside, including 2 Caravaggios, the greenery and relaxation of the beautiful Upper Barakka Gardens. From these gardens overlooking the sea it is possible to enjoy one of the most beautiful views in all of Malta: you will have a superb panorama of the Grand Harbor and the Three Cities opposite - Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua. From here, with the panoramic lift located on the right of the Upper Barakka Gardens, you go down to sea level. With a ferry from the valley in 10 minutes we will go to visit the medieval town of Vittoriosa, a little jewel of alleys and corners so pretty that they seem fake and where time seems to have stopped. To finish with an aperitif at the water front where there are many bars.

02/01 Among the things to do in Malta, at the top of the list there is certainly a nice visit to Mdina. Also known as the "Old City", they had their home in this splendid citadel which embodies the best of medieval and baroque architecture. Located approximately 190 meters above sea level on the highest point of the island, the ancient city of Mdina immediately fascinates its visitors with its very pleasant tranquility, therefore well deserved the nickname "The Silent City".
03/01 9.00 am landing in Valletta to return to Italy.
